Three short walkthroughs that get your accounts ready before design work starts. Each one saves your place, so you can close the tab mid-step and pick it back up later.

Does any of this cost money?
GitHub's free plan covers everything these guides ask for, including private repositories. Railway starts with a trial, and most small sites end up on its lowest paid plan — a few dollars a month. Nothing in the guides commits you to a charge without a clear screen telling you so first, and we'll flag hosting costs during the project before anything is billed.
Why do the guides make me create the accounts instead of you?
Because then you own them. Your project files, your hosting, your billing — all under accounts registered to you, with Admit One invited in as a collaborator. If we ever part ways, nothing needs to be migrated or handed back. It's a little more setup now for a lot more control later.
Do I have to follow the guides in order?
Yes — Railway signs you in with the GitHub account you make in guide one, and it deploys the repository you create there. Doing them back to back takes about half an hour total. The domain guide, once it's ready, can happen any time before launch.
What happens if I get stuck halfway through a guide?
Close the tab and breathe — the steps you've checked off are saved in your browser, so the guide reopens right where you left it. If a screen doesn't match what the guide describes, email hello@admitone.studio with a quick note about which step you're on. We'd rather hop on a five-minute call than have you fight with a settings page.
Is it safe to add Admit One as a collaborator?
Collaborator access lets us read and update project files — it doesn't give us ownership, billing control, or the ability to lock you out. You stay the owner on both GitHub and Railway, and you can remove our access from each platform's settings page at any time, no conversation required (though we'd appreciate one).
I already own a domain. What should I do with it?
Keep it renewed, then follow the domain handoff guide whenever you're ready — it works with any provider and takes about fifteen minutes. It helps you find your registrar, check the account is healthy, and pick how we'll connect the domain at launch. No domain yet? Skip it entirely: your site can launch on its free Railway address and connect a domain any time later.
